Vietnamese Wine Tasting

Mountain winemaking: from terroir to glass

ChillDry 2–4 hours Year-round; best from November to March 3 places

What it is and why

Heart of Vietnamese winemaking is in Da Lat. Here, at height of 1500 meters above sea level, unique conditions are created for production of red and white wines which noticeably differ from European analogues. During tasting you will learn how traditional methods combine with tropical features of region.

Visiting wineries usually includes tour through gardens, where guides tell about process of grape harvesting and fermentation. Main accent is on local varieties and drinks based on local berries and fruits which became visiting card of region. This is ideal way to relax in atmosphere of eternal spring and mountain fogs.
