Tuyen Quang Memorial Park is a significant memorial site dedicated to the province's revolutionary predecessors. Built in 1995 from a design by architect Lê Hiệp, the park attracts visitors with both its profound historical significance and its unique architecture, which won the First Prize in the national competition. It is an ideal location to immerse oneself in the atmosphere of 20th-century Vietnamese history.

What you need to know
The 14-meter-high central monument is the architectural centerpiece of the park. Its shape symbolizes a banyan tree—a sacred image inextricably linked to the history of Tân Trào, where Ho Chi Minh prepared for the August Revolution of 1945. The soft curves of the structure also evoke the petals of a sacred lotus.
The park is situated on a picturesque hill in the middle of a lake. A bridge and a red stone staircase lead to the monument. Visitors can enjoy walks along shaded paths among old-growth plants and take in panoramic views of the lake from railing-lined viewing platforms.
