Ha Temple (Đền Hạ) is a significant monument of Vietnamese architecture and spiritual culture located in Tuyen Quang Province. Founded in 1738, it is part of the Mother Goddess worship complex and is renowned for its masterful wood craftsmanship as well as its picturesque location by the Lo River.

What you need to know
The temple was built in 1738 and is dedicated to Princess Phuong Dung, revered as a patron goddess. In 1878, the building underwent major restoration that preserved its original appearance.
Architectural features: The temple was built in the "inner palace, outer gate" style (nội công ngoại quốc). Special attention should be paid to the rich wood carvings on the columns and beams, decorated with motifs of sacred animals and plants. The entrance group with four columns is decorated with sculptures of soaring phoenixes.
Artifacts: The temple houses valuable relics: a bronze bell from the Le dynasty, a Khanh musical instrument, ancient statues, and 20 imperial decrees (sắc phong) of high historical value.
The ideal time to visit is from the 11th to the 16th day of the second lunar month, when the temple hosts a major traditional festival with processions and folk games.
