Thai Hoa Palace was founded during the reign of Emperor Gia Long. Its unique structure consists of two connected buildings. The main hall is decorated with 80 columns painted with golden dragons—symbols of imperial power. The interior is complemented by a magnificent golden throne and an unusual library with 297 sections carved with Chinese poetry.

Special attention should be paid to the acoustics: the hall's design allowed the emperor, sitting on the throne, to hear the conversations of those present from anywhere in the room. Following significant destruction during the 1968 war, the palace was carefully restored with UNESCO participation and reopened in 2021.
