About

What you need to know

The cave is impressively sized: up to 300 meters long and over 20 meters high. At the entrance, framed by sheer cliffs about 3 meters wide, visitors are greeted by an unusual ecosystem. Inside, the cave is divided into numerous chambers adorned with complex stalactite and stalagmite formations of various shapes and hues. The cave walls are partly covered in natural moss, creating a lost-world atmosphere.

An important feature is the large bat colony (around 10,000 individuals) inhabiting the cave, which are most active in the evening. Total darkness prevails inside the cave at all times, making a flashlight an absolute requirement for a comfortable visit.
