What you need to know
Spanning roughly one kilometer, Dau Dang Waterfall is striking in its structure: the first cascade plunges water down with immense force, the second splits into two streams, and the third concludes the composition with a tranquil flow.
Beyond its natural beauty, the site is steeped in local legends regarding the spiritual energy of the river. It is also home to the rare and large ca chien fish, weighing over 10 kilograms. The walking trail to the waterfall winds through forests and the Hua Tang village, inhabited by the Tay ethnic minority, adding an ethnographic dimension to the visit.
The dry season features more comfortable temperatures. The weather is favorable for hiking along the trail, and the water level provides a steady flow with reduced turbidity.
