Bay Canh Island (Hòn Bảy Cạnh) is the second-largest island in the Con Dao archipelago, completely uninhabited and covered by primary tropical forests. This marine reserve is the largest sea turtle nesting ground in Southeast Asia and an ideal destination for snorkeling and wildlife enthusiasts.

What you need to know
The island boasts exceptional biodiversity. Its coastlines are protected by mangrove forests and coral reefs, where rare species can be found, from long-tailed macaques to dugongs. The main highlight is the sea turtle conservation program, running since 1994.
Visitors can join night tours (nesting season: May–October) to witness egg-laying, or explore the historic 1884 lighthouse built by the French. The island features a network of snorkeling sites with water visibility of up to 25 meters and diverse coral gardens.
