What you need to know
The Can Tho Bridge is an impressive example of modern infrastructure. Its total length is 2.75 km, and the height of its inverted Y-shaped pylons reaches 175.3 meters. At the time of its opening, it held the title of the longest cable-stayed bridge in Southeast Asia.

Navigational clearance 300 meters wide and 39 meters high.
The construction history is dramatic: work began in 2004 but was marred by a major disaster in 2007 when an approach span collapsed. After investigations were completed and safety measures reinforced, the bridge was successfully opened on April 24, 2010.
