Cần Thơ Museum

The museum covers an area of 2,700–3,000 sq. m and is divided into two main thematic zones:

The ground floor is dedicated to nature and ethnography. Here you will find exhibits of the Óc Eo culture (1st–7th centuries), including unique 5th-century pottery, as well as detailed models of the traditional lifestyles of the Kinh, Hoa, and Khmer peoples. This is the ideal place to learn about the fishing, rice farming, and daily life traditions of the Mekong Delta.

The second floor transports visitors into the turbulent history of the war years. The exhibition features documents, maps, personal belongings, and weaponry that tell the story of the people's resistance during the French War and the American War.

In addition to permanent halls, the museum regularly hosts thematic exhibitions where you can see traditional costumes (such as the áo bà ba) or antique collections.
