The Vietnam Military History Museum is a modern space that relocated its exhibition to a new building in November 2024. The museum covers centuries of Vietnam's struggle for independence: from the founding of the nation in 939 to modern tasks of protecting maritime sovereignty. It is a must-visit location combining a massive collection of original equipment and cutting-edge digital technologies.

What you need to know
The exhibition features over 150,000 exhibits, including four national treasures: the legendary T-54B tank No. 843, which breached the gates of the Independence Palace; the MiG-21 fighter jet No. 5121, which shot down a B-52; the operational map of the Ho Chi Minh Campaign; and artifacts of ancient military art.
In addition to classical exhibitions, the museum offers deep immersion through:
- 3D projections and interactive sandboxes.
- VR simulators (MiG-21 cockpit, reconstruction of the capture of the Independence Palace).
- Info kiosks with QR codes and dozens of documentary videos. The outdoor area features a large-scale collection of aviation, artillery, and armored vehicles.
