The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is one of the most significant and revered places in Vietnam. What you need to know
The mausoleum is the burial place of Ho Chi Minh, whose body is preserved in a glass sarcophagus in the central chamber. Visits are strictly regulated: all photography, video recording, talking, and stopping inside are prohibited. Visitors move in a slow queue, passing by the sarcophagus under the watchful eye of guards in white uniforms. Remember that this is a sacred place for the Vietnamese people, so rules of conduct are enforced very strictly.
