The house was built from lacquered and polished wood, representing an example of architectural simplicity. Despite being offered more luxurious quarters, Ho Chi Minh preferred this modest stilt house.
The ground floor houses the hall where Politburo meetings took place, while the second floor contains the leader's bedroom and personal study. The interior of the rooms has been completely preserved just as it was during Ho Chi Minh's lifetime. Visiting this place allows you to experience the atmosphere in which key decisions for the country's destiny were made.
During this period, the weather is most comfortable for long walks around the Ba Dinh district. Try to plan your visit between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM to avoid morning crowds and tour groups.
