What to Know
The pagoda was founded by the monk Nhat Dinh in 1842–1843. The name "Tu Hieu" translates to "filial piety and compassion," reflecting the founder's devotion to his mother. Architecturally, the complex is harmoniously complemented by a park with lotus ponds and pine alleys.

- Eunuch Cemetery: A unique historical section containing 25 tombs of the Nguyen dynasty court eunuchs.
- Thich Nhat Hanh's Legacy: The pagoda was the formative place and final home of the world-renowned Zen master.
