About the place

What you need to know

The waterfall is located 2.5–3 km from downtown Sapa. It is the "heart" of Cat Cat settlement, where you can still see old watermills that were previously used by locals to grind grain. The path to the waterfall leads through traditional houses, rice fields, and artisan workshops.

For a complete experience, it is recommended to visit the cultural center near the waterfall (Hmong cultural performances take place at 9:00, 10:00, 11:00, 14:00, 15:00, 16:00). From May to September, the waterfall is at its fullest and most impressive.
