Phu Quoc National Park is a unique natural complex established in 2001, covering 54% of the island's territory. Thanks to its rich biodiversity and ecological significance, the park was granted UNESCO biosphere reserve status in 2006. It is a place where you can see ancient trees, rare mammal species such as silvered langurs, and enjoy the untouched beauty of tropical nature.

What to know
The park is divided into three functional zones: a strictly protected zone, a recovery zone, and an administrative area. It is home to over 900 plant species, while the fauna includes more than 40 species of mammals and 100 species of birds.
Main activities:
- Hiking: from the accessible Ganh Dau trail to the challenging climb up Mount Chua (603 m).
- Waterfalls: visiting the crystal-clear Tranh Stream or other local waterfalls.
- Camping: permitted only along the Tien Stream route.
It is important to remember that for most trails deep inside the park, hiring a registered guide is necessary due to poor trail markings.
The dry season is the ideal time to visit, offering comfortable temperatures, clear streams, and full access to all hiking trails.
