Hoang Phuc Pagoda is a historical monument of national importance, with a history dating back to the Tran Dynasty. The temple is known for its remarkable destiny: having survived near-total destruction by a severe storm in the 19th century, it was carefully restored in 2016 and today stands as a symbol of the revival of the region's spiritual traditions.

What you need to know
The pagoda was founded as Tri Kien Temple, but over the centuries it changed names according to imperial decrees — from Kinh Thien to its current name, bestowed by Emperor Minh Mang in 1821.
Main features:
- Relics: In 2016, the Buddhist Sangha of Myanmar presented the pagoda with a gift of Buddha bone relics from the famous Shwedagon Pagoda.
- Architectural complex: Located on the picturesque right bank of the Kien Giang River, the complex covers a vast area of 10,000 m².
- Historical heritage: Despite the destruction, unique artifacts have been preserved, including an 80-kg ancient bell and foundations that reflect the temple's past grandeur.
