What you need to know
The museum occupies a modern 2,500 m² building opened in 2019. The exhibition is divided into seven thematic halls covering natural resources, ethnic culture, and key historical eras—from the prehistoric Hoa Binh and Bau Tro cultures to the period of the struggle for national independence.
Main Exhibits:
- Prehistoric stone and bone tools (up to 10,000 years old).
- The Governor's bronze seal (1515).
- The DT-54 tractor, personally presented by President Ho Chi Minh in 1961.
- Unique calligraphic manuscripts dedicated to General Vo Nguyen Giap.
The museum is open daily, including holidays. Thanks to its location in the center of Dong Hoi city, it is easily accessible at any time of the year.
