Kien An Cung Temple (also known as Ong Quach Temple) is a magnificent example of traditional Chinese architecture, built in 1924–1927. Serving as a spiritual center and community hall for settlers from Fujian province, the temple retains its authentic atmosphere and exquisite decorative craftsmanship, officially recognized as a national historical and cultural monument.

History and Architecture
The temple is designed in the shape of the Chinese character «工» (gong) and impresses with its craftsmanship. Its ship-shaped roof is decorated with turrets and ceramic figurines depicting scenes from mythology and classical Chinese opera. Special attention is drawn by the carved stone qilin at the entrance and the «heavenly well» — an inner courtyard that provides natural light and ventilation for the halls. Inside the temple, you can see gilded columns and altars dedicated to the protectors and benefactors of the Fujian community.
Dry season with minimal rainfall. Morning hours (8–9 AM) are ideal for photography when light streams through the «heavenly well».
