Sam Son is a city in Thanh Hoa province, located 16 km from the city of the same name (Thanh Hoa city) and 160–170 km south of Hanoi. The resort's history began back in 1906, when French colonizers chose this place for recreation. Today it is one of the most popular beach centers for domestic tourism in Vietnam, which is actively being updated thanks to investments in modern tourist complexes.
