History
The Ho Chi Minh Museum is a landmark in Hanoi, located in the historic Ba Đình Square complex. Designed in the shape of a blooming white lotus, the building is a symbol of the simplicity and nobility of the leader of the Vietnamese revolution. It is the largest collection of documents and artifacts detailing the formation of modern Vietnam.

What you need to know
The museum was opened on May 19, 1990, to mark the 100th anniversary of Ho Chi Minh's birth. Designed by Soviet architect Harold Isakovich, the project brings together 120,000 exhibits, including documents, photographs, and personal belongings of the president.
The exhibition is divided into eight thematic zones covering Ho Chi Minh's journey from his first revolutionary steps in 1911 to the victory in 1975. Visitors can see the president's Testament, a memorial hall, and documentary videos on key historical events, such as the victory at Điện Biên Phủ.
During this time, the climate in Hanoi is more temperate, making walks around Ba Đình Square and visits to the museum as comfortable as possible.
