Van Linh Canh Pagoda has a centuries-old history: the first mention of the temple dates back to 1754 (during the reign of Emperor Le Hien Tong), and the surviving bronze bell was cast in 1843. In 1999, the Ministry of Culture and Information designated the pagoda as a national art monument.
The complex covers an area of about 5,000 square meters and includes the main gate, residential quarters, the hall of deities, and a guesthouse. The temple's architecture follows the traditional style of Buddhist structures. Of particular value is the collection of 53 ancient statues, including rare depictions of the infant Shakyamuni and Guanyin deities. The best time to visit is during Buddhist holidays, such as the Birthday of Shakyamuni Buddha, the Vu Lan Festival, or Amitabha Buddha Day.
