Tam Thanh Village is a unique art project that emerged in 2016 as a result of cooperation between Vietnam and South Korea. The former fishing village has turned into an open-air museum where house walls are transformed into canvases featuring murals about the lives of sailors, local daily routines, and Asian cultural heritage. It is a place where art brings everyday life to life, offering travelers a completely different perspective on Vietnam's coastal life.

Art History
The "Art for a Better Community" project began in 2016 when volunteers and artists decorated over 100 houses with murals in 20 days. Today, visitors can see over 130 works depicting fishing life, portraits of locals, and flora.

A project featuring over 200 painted woven basket boats ("thung chai"), for which the village received a Vietnamese record.

The village is remote from popular routes. The murals are susceptible to the marine climate, so maintenance work is carried out regularly with the participation of local and invited artists.
The dry season provides the best weather for walking and photography. It is recommended to plan your visit for the early morning or pre-sunset hours for the best lighting on the murals.
