What you need to know
The beach is named after the wife of Vietnam's last emperor, Bảo Đại. Its main feature is its surface: rounded stones naturally polished by the sea over thousands of years. Due to the abundance of stones, the beach is poorly suited for swimming, but it is ideal for walking along the rocks and taking striking photographs. There are also natural pools formed by the tides. Local cafes offer breathtaking views of Quy Nhon, which are especially picturesque at sunrise.
Dry season with clear weather and minimal precipitation. Visiting in the morning hours is recommended.
