The Pu Sam Cap cave complex is a unique natural treasure located in a karst mountain range 6 km from Lai Chau city. Discovered by locals in 2006, the complex includes more than ten caves and offers breathtaking views of the Nam Ron river valley, immersing visitors in the atmosphere of a primeval forest and majestic underground halls.

What you need to know
The complex consists of three main caves, each with its own unique features:
- Thien Mon (Heaven Gate): a spacious lower cave with a huge vault, rich in stalactites and stalagmites.
- Thien Duong (Paradise): distinguished by a peaceful atmosphere and whimsical dripstone figures resembling animals.
- Thuy Tinh (Crystal): the highest and most inaccessible cave, a true challenge for caving enthusiasts.
Geologically, the complex is a limestone massif with a rich variety of crystalline formations that have formed over millions of years.
The dry season provides safe access to trails and the best visibility. During this time, visiting the caves is especially pleasant thanks to a comfortable temperature difference.
