What you need to know
The waterfall plummets from a height of 130 meters, creating a powerful stream of white foam at the base and a clear lake of about 200 square meters. The name "Tinh" translates to "love," referring to the beautiful legend of a couple from the Dao ethnic group who turned into this stream.
Visitors can admire the waterfall from below or climb an unmarked trail (15–25 min) to the upper tiers of the cascade. In sunny weather, rainbows can often be seen in the waterfall's spray.
Early spring is the best time to visit: the water flow is stable and the roads are in good condition.
