Nam Phuong Linh Tu Temple is the central attraction of the Phuong Nam cultural tourism complex in Đồng Tháp Province. This site is a unique example of the modern restoration of historical heritage, preserving the memory of the great figures who developed the southern territories of Vietnam within a traditional architectural aesthetic.

What you need to know
The complex was inaugurated on December 24, 2017, and is now a protected provincial historical and cultural monument.
The main building, covering an area of 509 m², is designed in traditional Huế style: it rests on 60 monumental columns with a diameter of over 0.45 meters. The interior of the temple is stunning for its masterful wood carving—from door panels to calligraphic inscriptions. One of the key architectural features is the ceramic Nam Phuong Bridge, which connects the various zones of the complex.
Inside the sanctuary, 21 bronze statues of historical figures are installed, including national heroes such as Nguyễn Huệ (Quang Trung) and Nguyễn Ánh (Gia Long), whose names are forever linked to the development of Southern Vietnam.
The temple is open to visitors year-round, though it looks most impressive during cultural festivals and memorial ceremonies for historical figures.
