About

What you need to know

The cave consists of three impressive chambers. The first chamber features a vaulted ceiling that lets in natural light, while the second displays delicate stalactites. The third chamber is the culmination: here, massive stone columns rise up to 25 meters high. The cave walls are adorned with formations resembling figures of ancient warriors, war elephants, and lions.

History: In 1917, Emperor Khai Dinh visited the cave and left a carved stone stele there. The cave's name is closely tied to the legend of General Tran Hung Dao, who in the 13th century allegedly hid wooden stakes here for the decisive battle against the Mongol invaders at Bach Dang.
