What you need to know
Established in 2001, the park is famous for its limestone islands, where karst processes began more than 300 million years ago. This place is home to over 2,200 species of organisms, including rare animals such as dugongs, sea turtles, and clouded leopards. In 2016, the bay was recognized as an ASEAN Heritage Park for its ecological integrity.
Key points of interest include the inhabited Quan Lan Island with its fishing villages, Minh Chau Island with a 2-kilometer beach and primary forest, as well as unique caves such as Phat Co, Bat (home to bats), and Cai De, which is accessible only at low tide. In 2025, 10 new tourist routes were officially opened here.
The dry season features the most favorable weather conditions. An ideal time for kayaking, hiking, and cave exploration in a stable climate.
