What you need to know
The grotto was discovered by the French in 1901. The path to it begins with climbing a stone staircase of 100 steps leading to the entrance, located 25 meters above sea level.
Inside, the cave is divided into two parts:
- The first chamber resembles a theater hall with a rich palette of stalactites.
- The second chamber is so spacious that it can hold up to 1,000 people at once.
Special charm is added by the "royal garden" featuring a crystal-clear pond and a miniature mountain landscape located deep within the grotto. A convenient lit pathway 500 meters long makes the tour comfortable and safe.
Most comfortable conditions for a visit: mild climate with no exhausting heat or prolonged storms.
