The Lang Son Provincial Museum is a landmark cultural institution in northern Vietnam. Founded in 1965, the museum underwent a complete renovation in 2010 and today offers visitors a unique insight into the region's rich history: from paleontological finds hundreds of thousands of years old to the cultural traditions of the Tay and Nung peoples. It is a must-stop for anyone wanting to deeply understand the history of the borderlands.

The museum houses over 3,000 artifacts, thematically divided into several key exhibitions:
- Prehistoric Period: Unique fossil collections (including finds from Tham Khuyen) and tools from the Bac Son and Mai Pha culture eras.
- Feudal Period: Stone steles, including the famous Thuy Mon Dinh (15th–18th centuries), demonstrating the development of writing.
- Ethnography: Everyday objects, folk costumes, and musical instruments of the Tay and Nung peoples.
