Tea industry
Thai Nguyen is the capital of the eponymous province, located on the banks of the Cau River. The city is widely known as the largest tea production center in Vietnam (the "Finest Tea" brand) and a place that played a key role in the country's struggle for independence. During the war years, it housed the "Wind Capital" — the Dinh Hoa safety zone, where President Ho Chi Minh worked. Today, the city combines industrial potential, a rich revolutionary past, and developing ecotourism.
