What you need to know
The giant mosaic teapot statue was installed in November 2011 during the first international tea festival in Thái Nguyên. The Vietnam Records Organization officially recognized it as the country's largest ceramic mosaic teapot.
Technically, the monument is a concrete frame decorated with ceramic mosaic. The central object is 3 meters high and 4.5 meters in diameter, complemented by three cups. The entire composition is mounted on a mosaic pedestal measuring 8 by 5.6 meters. The statue is located next to the Tân Cương Tea Company and is part of the Tea Cultural Space. Visitors can not only see this art installation but also visit the space's museum, which houses over 500 exhibits ranging from vintage tea production tools to ancient teapots.
