Cao Bang is a region where majestic mountains meet historical heritage. The city is set in a picturesque mountainous area 283 km from Hanoi. It was here in 1941 that Ho Chi Minh began preparing for the struggle for independence, settling in the Pac Bo caves. The region is famous for the breathtaking Ban Gioc Waterfall and the unique culture of ethnic minorities such as the Tay, Nung, and Hmong.
