About the Place

What you need to know

The Pac Bo complex, located in Truong Ha commune, holds the status of a special national monument. It was here, near the Chinese border, that Ho Chi Minh and his comrades established the revolutionary headquarters. The central event in the site's history was the 8th Plenum of the Party Central Committee (May 1941), where the decision was made to create the Viet Minh League and launch the struggle for national salvation.

On the grounds of the complex, visitors can see Coc Bo Cave, where the leader worked, Khuoi Nam Shack, Lung Lan and Nguom Vai Caves, as well as the Ho Chi Minh Pagoda. Pac Bo is also designated as Kilometer Zero of the legendary "Ho Chi Minh Trail," the total length of which reaches over 3,000 km.
