Yen Tu Pagoda (Chua Dong) is one of Vietnam's most significant Buddhist monuments, located on the mountain peak of the same name. This site attracts pilgrims and tourists with its unique combination of spiritual atmosphere, picturesque pine forests, and majestic architecture.

What you need to know
The modern bronze pagoda was opened in 2007. It weighs 70 tons, and its architectural style reflects the traditions of the Tran Dynasty. Inside the temple, statues of Shakyamuni Buddha and the three founders of the Truc Lam school are enthroned on lotus pedestals.
In addition to the main temple at an altitude of 1,068 m, the pilgrimage route includes:
- Hoa Yen Pagoda (534 m) — the largest along the way.
- Mot Mai Pagoda (One-Roof Pagoda) — a unique structure built into a cliff.
- Numerous other shrines, such as Van Tien and Giai Oan.
Festival period with extended operating hours. Autumn is also popular due to favorable weather and scenic landscapes.
