Founded in 1995, Bát Nhã Monastery is a unique center of Buddhist culture, spanning 25 hectares. This place attracts visitors with its tranquil atmosphere, East Asian-style architecture, and scenic views of the Di Linh plateau. Despite dramatic events in its history, the monastery remains an important destination for admirers of spiritual architecture and nature in Vietnam.

What you need to know
The monastery was built with the support of Buddhists from all over the world. Its architecture features a double-tiered roof with curved tiles and thoughtful landscape design, including the Blue Lake and an artificial waterfall.
What to see:
- The triple-gate entrance with inscriptions in Vietnamese, English, and Sanskrit.
- A 350 cm tall statue of Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva atop an artificial mountain.
- Separated zones: Phương Bối Forest (for monks) and the Red Stove (for nuns).
The territory is surrounded by beautiful pine forests and tea plantations, and at the end of the year, the road to the sanctuary is adorned with blooming flamboyant trees.
The most favorable period with sunny weather and temperatures around 20°C. During this time, the yellow flamboyant flowers are in bloom.
