Oolong Tea Hill (also known as "Ô Quy Hồ") is one of Vietnam's most beautiful tea plantations, located at an altitude of 1,800 meters in the Hoàng Liên Sơn mountain range. This place combines production scale with stunning aesthetics: rows of well-maintained tea tended by the local Hmong ethnic minority, and avenues of blooming cherry blossoms.

What you need to know
The plantation is located just 8 km from the center of Sapa town. Its main attraction is considered to be the cherry trees (sakura), which bloom from early December to late January, coloring the hills in soft pink against the lush green of the tea bushes.
Even if you visit the plantation outside the blooming season (for example, in July), it remains incredibly appealing thanks to fresh mountain air and panoramic views. The best time to visit is early morning (7:00–8:00 AM) for soft sunrise light or late afternoon (3:00–5:00 PM). The plantation is visible right from National Highway 4D leading to the Ô Quy Hồ Pass.
