The Sóc Trăng Provincial Museum is an important cultural institution opened in 2010. Spanning over 12,000 m², it houses an impressive collection of 13,000 artifacts showcasing the daily life, traditions, and history of the region's three ethnic groups: the Kinh, Khmer, and Hoa. Half of the exhibits are dedicated to the rich culture of the Khmer.

History and Exhibits
The museum is divided into thematic levels:
First floor:
Dedicated to the province's natural resources and the material culture of the three peoples (Kinh, Khmer, Hoa), including everyday objects, traditional costumes, and tools.
Second and third floors:
Dedicated to the history of armed struggle, divided into four periods: from the resistance against French colonial rule to the present day.
The exhibits feature models of Khmer theatrical performances, traditional musical instruments, and agricultural tools.
