The Đức Mẹ Bãi Dâu complex is a significant religious landmark located on the western slope of Nui Lon Mountain in Vung Tau. The snow-white 25-meter statue, set at an elevation of 60 meters above sea level, faces the bay, making it Vietnam's counterpart to Christ the Redeemer. The site attracts not only pilgrims but also lovers of original architecture and panoramic views.

What you need to know
The complex began its history in 1962 and over time transformed into an important center of the Diocese of Bà Rịa.

- Statue of the Virgin Mary: A 500-ton white marble monument solemnly consecrated in 1994.
- Church (Đền Thánh): A building with unique "sailboat" architecture, accommodating up to 1,000 worshippers.

The climb to the statue is via a stone staircase equipped with benches for rest.
