What you need to know
Drum Grotto is a through-cave with two entrances and an area of over 300 m². The floor inside the grotto is dry and flat, and the space is decorated with bizarre stalactites and stalagmites, among which a figure resembling a young man stands out.
Historical significance: The cave is a vital archaeological site of the Soi Nhu culture (7,000–8,000 years old). Sedimentary layers and ancient mollusk shells can still be seen on its walls.
Legend: Locals tell the story of a tragic love involving a fisherman who hid in the cave in despair. According to legend, the drum sounds are the echo of his blows against the cave walls as he tried to call out to his beloved.
