What you need to know
The lighthouse stands 110 meters above sea level on a spur of the Trường Sơn mountain range. The 26.5-meter-high tower still uses its original Fresnel lens.

Sunrises:
The gates open at 5:00 AM so visitors can catch the first rays of the sun.
Walking trail:
The climb involves 500+ stone steps (30-45 minutes). Be sure to bring water (at least 1 liter per person).
Bãi Môn Beach:
A pristine white sand beach at the foot of the cape. Perfect for a walk after visiting the lighthouse.
Dry season with clear skies and calm seas. The best time for sunrise viewing and snorkeling. October to February is characterized by strong winds and monsoons.
