What to know
Construction of the granite monument began on November 29, 2007, and was completed on January 18, 2008, with the participation of all three countries. The monument is a three-sided cylinder two meters high and weighing about one ton. Each side features engraved state emblems and the names of the countries in their national languages.
The site is located in Kon Tum Province (Bo Y commune, Ngoc Hoi district), at the intersection with Laos's Attapeu Province and Cambodia's Ratanakiri Province. Official coordinates: 14°09'80" N, 107°33'23.79" E. The altitude above sea level is about 1081–1086 meters. The road to the monument passes through a picturesque highland pass.
The dry season is best for visiting. During the rainy season, roads in the mountainous area can be difficult to pass.
