The Cao Dai Holy See is not just a place of worship, but a large-scale spiritual complex built exclusively by manual labor between 1931 and 1955. The temple is the center of the syncretic Cao Dai religion, which combines elements of Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, Christianity, and ancestor worship, as reflected in its unusual architecture.

Architectural Synthesis
Measuring 97.5 meters long, the temple combines features of a French Catholic cathedral, a Chinese pagoda, and an Islamic mosque. Special attention is drawn to the main symbol — the "all-seeing eye" within a triangle on the altar, as well as depictions of saints and philosophers from various faiths, including Victor Hugo.
Interior
The interior space is decorated with dragon-shaped columns and an incredible ceiling simulating the sky with 3,027 stars. The complex covers over 1 sq. km and includes dozens of administrative buildings and a picturesque park area.
Services and Rules
Services are held daily at 06:00, 12:00, 18:00, and 00:00. The 12:00 service is the most popular with tourists due to its musical accompaniment and rituals. Rules: Shoes must be removed before entering, and clothing must cover the knees. Inside, it is important to keep quiet and observe silence. Photography is allowed.
