What you need to know
The complex is divided into two locations:
Ben Dinh:
a more popular section adapted for tourists. An excellent choice for a first visit and families with children.
Ben Duoc:
an authentic, much less crowded complex that has preserved the original narrow tunnels and a memorial temple for the fallen.
Inside the tunnels, there are recreated areas of guerrilla daily life, storage rooms, and workshops. Visitors also have access to shooting ranges using historical weapons from that era (AK-47, M16, M60). Important note: the passages are very narrow and unlit, so people with claustrophobia or back problems should assess their abilities in advance.
Dry season with comfortable temperatures around 28°C. Avoid visiting in April and May due to extreme heat.
