What you need to know
Phuoc Lu Pagoda is an architectural masterpiece covering an area of over 2 hectares. The main hall of the temple, Chanh Dien, draws attention with its multi-tiered roofs and expressive sculptures of the Naga serpent-dragon.
Inside, you will find detailed murals illustrating the path of Shakyamuni Buddha and a majestic statue on a lotus. The complex grounds are decorated with figures from Khmer mythology: winged Kinnari maidens and fierce Yeak guardians. The temple's special pride consists of century-old kapok trees and oil palms, which create a unique microclimate and an atmosphere of tranquility.
The temple is open for visits at any time. When planning your visit, it is worth considering the dates of major Khmer festivals, such as Choul Chnam Thmay, when the atmosphere becomes the most festive.
