The Military Zone 3 Museum is a landmark for anyone interested in the history of the Vietnamese armed forces. Founded in 1969, the museum has evolved from a modest exhibition into a major cultural center preserving the memory of key stages in the country's struggle for independence.

What you need to know
Located at 254 Le Duan Street, Kien An District, the Military Zone 3 Museum is a living chronicle of the events of 1945–1975.
What to see:
- Military equipment: an outdoor display featuring heavy weaponry and equipment from various eras.
- Exhibitions: a rich collection of weapons, personal belongings of soldiers, archival photographs, and documents highlighting the resistance against French colonists and American troops.
- Memorial chapel: a monumental 21-meter-tall structure on the museum grounds covering 1,300 sq. m, erected in memory of fallen heroes.
The museum was completely renovated and reopened on October 31, 2000, significantly expanding its exhibition halls.
The dry season offers the most comfortable temperatures for walking through the museum's outdoor exhibitions.
