What you need to know
Suoi Do Pagoda ("Falling Stream") was founded over 50 years ago. Its history is tied to the legend of the apparition of the Goddess Quan Am, making it a significant pilgrimage center. The architectural style of the temple follows Buddhist traditions: bright yellow walls, curved red roofs, and numerous sculptures.
The path to the shrine is a two-stage climb: the right trail (about 200 steps) leads to the main temple, while the left trail leads to the Mother Temple at the top of the mountain. Visitors can admire rice fields, banana plantations, and even the sacred Giếng Tiên wells, which never dry up.
The dry season ensures a safe road and the best views. During the rainy season, the stream turns into a powerful torrent.
