The Po Nagar complex is a unique testament to the great history of the Champa kingdom, built between the 7th and 13th centuries. The temple is dedicated to the earth goddess Po Ina Nagar and remains an active place of worship for the Cham, Chinese, and Vietnamese people. It is an atmospheric place where you can touch antiquity, see traditional dances, and admire authentic brick architecture.

What you need to know
The complex is located on Cu Lao Hill and consists of towers oriented toward the east. The tallest tower (Khu di tích Tháp Bà) reaches 28 meters and is decorated with terracotta reliefs. Inside the main sanctuary is a black granite statue of the goddess Po Ina Nagar. Special attention should be paid to the Mandapa—a ceremonial platform with brick pillars where traditional dances to live music (Ginang drum, Kanhi violin, and Saranai flute) are regularly performed.
The dry season is ideal for sightseeing and photography. Visiting in the morning hours (06:00–09:00) or evening hours (after 15:00) is recommended to avoid the heat and large tour groups.
