Founded on June 13, 1979, the Khanh Hoa Museum is located in a landmark French colonial-era building from the early 20th century. It is a cultural center housing nearly 10,000 original artifacts and over 5,000 historical photographs and documents that narrate the history and heritage of the region.

What you need to know
The museum occupies three small rooms with a total area of about 200 sq. m. Key exhibits include:
Khanh Son Lithophone:
a unique stone musical instrument consisting of 12 slabs (2,500–3,000 years old), recognized as a national treasure of Vietnam.
Bronze Drums:
artifacts over 2,000 years old featuring exquisite craftsmanship.
Cham Artifacts:
ancient bricks, 9th–14th century sculptures, and the Vo Canh Stele — one of the region's earliest written records in Sanskrit (2nd century AD).
Sa Huynh Culture (Som Con):
stone tools and jewelry from the Bronze Age.
Traditional Crafts:
exhibitions on weaving and pottery (My Nhiep and Bau Truc villages).
Historical Chronicle:
weapons and documents dedicated to Vietnam's resistance wars (1930–2002).
