What you need to know
The market spans a two-story main building and a vast outdoor area. The ground floor is a culinary paradise featuring meat, spices, and a food court with 40 prepared-food stalls. The second floor is dedicated to textiles, silk, and shoes. The outdoor rows offer an astonishing variety of exotic fruits and local handicrafts. Here you can try legendary dishes such as Cao Lau noodles, Bánh sèo pancakes, and classic Bánh mì. Unlike some other markets, cat and dog meat are not sold here.
Dry season with comfortable temperatures. Morning hours (06:00 – 08:00) are the ideal time to buy the freshest produce and secure the best selection of goods.
